Located in the heart of the impressive Valle Roveto, over 700 meters above the sea level, the Baths of Canistro have enjoyed a wide fame since 1493, when an official document attested to the effectiveness of the water which flows from the Santa Croce and Sponga springs, and listed for the first time the healing properties of the local water.
Thanks to the presence of its green landscapes and the proximity to the Abruzzo National Park, the Baths of Canistro turn out to be the ideal place for a holiday aimed at the recovery of mental and physical faculties, as well as at the treatment of digestive disorders by ingesting water rich in minerals and soothing properties.
