Baths of Bologna

Renowned since ancient times for its therapeutic properties, the mineral water in the subsoil of Bologna is mainly sulphurous and bicarbonate-sulphate-calcium and is, therefore, suitable for a wide range of uses which led over the centuries to the establishment of three different thermal facilities located near the beautiful county town of Romagna.
Both at the Felsinee Baths, and at the Baths of San Luca or San Petronio, it is possible to dive in the relaxing atmosphere typical of the Bologna hills and enjoy a holiday spent in search of natural wellness and numerous attractions offered by a city rich in art and entertainment.

The thermal water of the Baths of Bologna, known since ancient times as the “pit of hell,” emerges at about 2 km from the thermal facility, to which it is connected by a recent pipeline.
It is mainly a sulphurous, bicarbonate calcium, sulphate water.

At the Baths of Bologna arthritis, rheumatism, bone decalcification, muscle spasms, post-surgical and post-traumatic abnormal kinesiological functions, as well as skin, upper respiratory, ENT and cardiovascular disorders are treated.
