Baths of Stigliano

Immersed in the hinterland of Lazio, the Grand Hotel of the Baths of Stigliano is located in direct contact with remains and ruins dating back to Roman times and is renowned worldwide for its peculiar combination of well-being and thousand-year old historical evidences.
The complex of Stigliano, an unrivalled gem of spa tourism in Lazio, is composed of a luxurious four-star hotel beautifully furnished and a wellness centre, called Olympus, which offers the most futuristic health and beauty treatments in a relaxing atmosphere.

The thermal water of the Baths of Stigliano derives from different springs with temperatures between 25° and 56° C. A special case is represented by the bicarbonate-sulphate-calcium water known as “Source of Beauty”, which flows at 39°C and is very effective in beauty treatments. Under the current thermal facility there is still a steam cave dating back to Roman times, where water flows directly from the spring.
It is mainly a sulphurous-salso-iodic water.

At the Baths of Stigliano dermatological, rheumatics, respiratory and locomotor disorders are treated.

The main disorders treated are:

Canale Monterano, also called Città Morta, is one of the most beautiful sites of Lazio; it offers several natural and artistic attractions. The natural reserves situated in the area provide interesting itineraries and excursions. It is worth mentioning, in the neighbourhood, the Castle Odescalchi in Bracciano, the Palazzo Altieri in Oriolo Romano and the sea of Cerveteri and Tarquinia.
