Located in the enchanting setting of the Imagna valley, at just 25 km from Bergamo, Sant’Omobono Terme is a pleasant village surrounded by a piedmont scenery characterized by a particular mild climate and by the presence of pure and uncontaminated air.

The thermal water of Sant’Omobono flows from Fonte della Salute and it is nourished by medium-mineral hypothermal water (10-15°C).

It is mainly a sulphate, bicarbonate, calcic water.

Atthe Baths of Sant’Omobono respiratory, ENT, gynaecological, dermatologic, gastrointestinal and renal disorders are treated. This thermal water has a tonic and sedative effect on the nervous and endocrine system.

Sant’Omobono Terme is a small town of Valle Imagna where enchanting naturalistic itineraries disclose and offer many opportunities for those who are fond of speleology. The place is in fact rich of karst phenomenon with about 250 caves and numerous sinkholes which present many interesting points.
It is worth visiting Ortensie villas, located next to the baths. Dating back to the XIX century, it presents very refined and elegant lines, also thanks to the recent restoration.
It boasts cult places of artistic and architectural interest like the church dedicated to Sant’Omobono, dates back the second half of XIX century and safeguards works of good quality; the parish church of Cepino, dedicated to San Bernardino, of XVI with works of Gaetano Peverada; the parish church of San Marco evangelist in Valsecca, of XV century, presents works of good value among which a wood crucifix by friar Giovanni da Reggio; at last, in Selino Alto the parish church of San Giacomo, neoclassic style, presents sculptures of fantonianan school and Francesco Quarenghi paintings.
The building of mayor appeal in the area is the sanctuary of Cornabusa, completely get from the rock, with a statue of the Virgin Mary who, according to the legend, cured a young deaf-mute.
