Myalgia is a localized or generalized muscle pain, originated from different causes of heterogeneous nature, that can produce physical pain whose extent and intensity may vary from simple persistent discomfort, until it assumes the proportions of a true disabling pathology.
At the base of the most common kinds of myalgia, there is generally an excessive use of the muscle concerned or a traumatic injury after a too intense physical activity, whose occurrence can be predicted by a phase of intermediate pain destined, subsequently, to evolve, for example, in a muscular sprain.
In order to avoid the use of anti-inflammatory medications or painkillers which may eventually lead to the development of a psychophysical addiction, baths treatments can soothe muscular pains with a gentle approach, carried out through contact with a particular mineral water able to reduce the inflammation causing the pain, especially during a post-traumatic rehabilitation.
